As mentioned in my first post on this blog, I have prepared some 2025 specific challenges for my Trophy Hunting journey as well. Without further ado, here they are.

1. The Platinum Path | 1/2

2. The Phantom Pursuit | 2/3

  2. 🌗 Uncommon Warrior – Platinum with rarity under 50% || Achieved with ASTRO BOT on May 26th, 2025
  3. 🌑 Rare Hunter – Platinum with rarity under 25%

3. The Trophy Tower | 3/5

  1. 🧱 Rookie Climber – 10 Trophies || Achieved with ASTRO BOT on May 26th, 2025
  2. 🛠️ Iron Forger – 25 Trophies || Achieved with ASTRO BOT on May 26th, 2025

6. The Completion Catalyst | 2/9

  • Earn a Platinum in a game that takes over 10 hours to complete
  • Earn a Platinum in a game that takes over 20 hours to complete
  • Earn a Platinum in a game that takes over 30 hours to complete
  • Earn a Platinum in a game released between 2010-2019
  • Earn a Platinum in a game originally released on PS5 || Achieved with ASTRO BOT on May 26th, 2025
  • Earn a Platinum in a game originally released on PS4
  • Earn a Platinum in a game originally released on PS2
  • Earn 100% completion (all trophies) in 1 game || Achieved with ASTRO BOT on May 26th, 2025
  • Earn 100% completion in 3 games

  • Earn a Platinum in 5 different Franchises
  • Beat Games developed in 3 different countries
  • Earn Platinums in 5 different Genres
  • Stay at over 75% Completion Rate at the end of the Year

The desire to trophy hunt has developed very recently in my case, but it has taken a really strong hold on me already. After getting my first two platinums, I found myself in kind of a tricky situation. My account was full of hundreds of games that I had trophies on, the majority of which left with platinums unattainable due to MP trophies and their servers being shut down. This left me with an ugly, uncomplete collection and a completion rate that was probably never gonna see anything close to 50% even.
